My worst experience with bidvertiser

If you've done research on the best Google Adsense alternatives, you will bear me witness that you have come across many websites/blogs talking about Bidvertiser being a good Google adsense alternative.

Actually it is. Am not going to discourage you that its not. Bidvertiser is a legit CPC (Cost per click)  Ad network.  I have used bidvertiser to monetize my blog for the last 6 months. This is the reason why I will share my six months experience with bidvertiser with other bloggers and potential bloggers.

Bidvertiser actually is a good platform to monetize your blog with but I encountered quite a number of challenges with it.

1)    Bivertiser is a pay per click ad network only. This means you only get paid when a blog reader clicks on an ad. Other ad networks pay for every 1000 impressions you expose their ads to but in Bidvertiser your web traffic in terms of impressions goes down the drain since a user has to click on the ad for you to get paid.

2)    When using Bidvertiser are not in a position to track how their ads are fairing on your website since they don’t reveal to you the number of clicks on their account. They only show the number of impressions and some other thing which is call ‘revenue points.’

3)    Bidvertiser does not offer a good user experience for your website/blog since their ads are repetitive and are totally irrelevant to your blog content. Well this can be understandable since they don’t have a lot of advertisers compared to their other competitors like GOOGLE ADSENSE

But the few advertisements are usually similar stating “start  download now” Not only are these ads irritating but they destroy the professionalism invested on your website/blog.

4)    When using a mobile phone or tablet and log in to a site with bidvertiser ads, the ads redirects you to another website or opens plays store and prompts you to download a particular app. This is usually irritating as this drives away your blog readers since they loose confidence with your blog. I contacted bidvertiser after I realized this was happening and after long consulting they told me that it should not happen on new browsers. So I was left to deal with my problem of loosing my web traffic day and day.

5)    As long you have placed an Ad HTML code on your ad space, the ads should always be live full time unless you disable them from your account. Well with bidvertiser, ads show for the better part of the day but disappear for some time leaving a message showing your ad here or Monetise your site with bidvertiser. Well for you to make money with an ad network, there should be ads running on your website/blog and for bidvertiser they are not usually visible full time and this highly affects your earnings.

6)    In blogging, your earnings are not always predictable but if you have monetized your blog with an ad network for a period of more than 5 months you can be in a position to estimate your earning by checking on your average monthly impressions.  But with bidvertiser this is the worst thing you can think of doing. Sometimes you find your earnings decreasing as your impressions increase while both should increase simultaneously.

This is the main thing that discouraged me form using Bidvertiser again on my blog.

 

CONCLUSION

This is a personal experience with bidvertiser and I do not discourage anyone from trying it out. Every one has a different experience with anything and you never know if it could work best for you.
